How much are my Pokemon cards worth?

How much are my Pokemon cards worth?

How much money are my Pokemon cards worth?

A question we get asked very often. Fortunately for you, we’ll go into more detail about it in this blog. We recently launched a new tool: CardChecker. In which every Pokemon card in existence is listed with the average prices added. But there is more to determining exactly how much your Pokemon cards are worth. Thus, the state is also very important, we will discuss that in more detail later, and of course it remains an open market of supply and demand. But so be sure to check out our Pokedex to see how much your cards are worth on average. This makes it very easy to distinguish whether it is an expensive or cheap ticket.

Determine the condition of your cards

This is one of the most important aspects when it comes to determining the value of your Pokemon Cards. Indeed, a card in gem mint (highest quality) can be worth €100e euros more than the same card in HP (Heavy Played) condition. There are also grading companies. Here, an expert records the condition of your card and then puts it in a secure case. So look at all your cards one at a time and determine the state involved. There are 10 types of states, we list them for you:

  • Heavy Played
  • Good
  • Very Good
  • Very Good – Excellent
  • Excellent
  • Excellent-Mint
  • Near Mint
  • Near Mint-Mint
  • Mint
  • Gem Mint – Pristine

The further down the state goes, the better the quality. So the top one is the worst you can have, the bottom one Gem Mint aka Pristine the highest. In this, prices vary greatly.

Using Pokemart’s CardChecker to determine how much your Pokemon card is worth.

Go to our CardChecker page via the menu. Here you will see a bar where you can enter the name or number of your card. For example “Charizard”, after this all Charizard cards come into view. Click the right one, then you will be taken to the info page about this card. Here you can see how much this card sells for on average. So you can easily look up all your cards via Pokemart.be and see a price indication. Do this for all the cards you have, and write down the average prices in Excel or on a piece of paper. It will take you some time, but then you will know whether you are dealing with cheap or expensive cards in your collection.

End

We hope you guys are going to come out with the state and price determine per ticket that you have. It is for this reason in particular that we have brought our Pokedex to life. Good luck with your picking and hopefully you have some real gems in your old collection. We also wish you good luck selling your tickets, if you want to, of course. Please don’t send us messages about how much a certain card is worth, you can find this out for yourself via the Pokedex!
