The newest kind of Pokémon cards Union-V

What are these new Pokémon cards called V-Union?

The Pokémon Company has come up with yet another new type of Pokémon cards, these are called V-Union. They are very special cards and you may find them a little strange now but you will get used to them. These cards actually consist of four parts, you have to find all 4 parts together to form one card. We already know it from the past with two cards, where you had, for example, one part Kyogre and one part Groudon. Putting these two cards together gave you one card. But now they’ve taken it to the next level and you have to put as many as four cards together to form one card. It’s a bit like the Yu-Gi-Oh Exodia card of old.

When will these new maps appear on the market?

There will be a very special Pikachu Union-V box with the 25th Celebrations set! See the image below, on it you can clearly see 4 different Pikachu cards that make up one set. This is the idea behind this new type of Pokémon cards. So you have to own all 4 to make the whole map, think of it as a kind of puzzle. A very nice concept, very refreshing and hopefully it will work out well. Fortunately for you, this box is already available for pre-order on our website. Furthermore, they will also be found in August, probably in the form of decks. They will be released first in Japan. If rumors are to be believed, these will come to market around the end of August. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more. And don’t forget to order the Pikachu Union-V box!

What do these new V-Union cards look like?

To give you a better idea we are going to show you some of them. So the beauty of it is that these cards are made up of four parts, but because of this they also have many more attacks and abbilities. Because so it’s just literally four cards, ideal to put in your deck. Take a good look, you’ll see both top left, bottom left, top right and bottom right different attacks and abbilities.
