Art Rares return in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

It’s kind of strange to write about Pokémon Scarlet & Violet already, since Pokémon Crown Zenith has yet to come out this month. But some leaks have just appeared about the very first Pokémon cards from Scarlet & Violet, which we really must share with you. As we already know, the EX cards are coming back, but now it has also been confirmed that the AR (Art Rares) will return in the new series of the new generation. Below we put down an overview of the very latest leaks. This is not about the Crown Zenith set, but the set that comes out next in the Scarlet & Violet generation.

The cards look stunning again and we are glad that they are extending the art rares to the next series. For how long we dare not say, this is all that The Pokémon Company has currently released.

When is this set coming out?

The Scarlet & Violet Base set will be released on March 31, 2023. That means we have a long wait, but fortunately time flies and Crown Zenith is coming out first. It is always a little exciting when a new generation starts, what will everything look like? How popular will it become? Will there be a lot of stock or less? And so there are many more questions!

Other leaks from Scarlet & Violet

There have been some leaks before such as which starters are coming, what they look like and the first images of the EX cards. So now some AR cards have also been leaked, which is very nice to see!

What do we think of this?

We are very much looking forward to this new generation of Pokémon cards, hopefully you are looking forward to it as much as we are. We think the set looks very nice, modern yet nostalgic because of the EX names. We also think it’s super cool that the AR cards are coming back, because we can never get enough of these. How wonderful were these AR cards in VSTAR Universe!
