Who doesn’t know him? The famous Joel Beukers from the Netherlands. Known among other things for his fitness activities, own businesses and as a model. Recently, he opened the special base booster box of Pokemon along with some friends. Will he pull the Charizard? After all, that one is worth a lot of money, especially if it becomes a PSA 10. But of course we’re not going to tell you what their pulls were, because we don’t do spoilers. Watch the entire video of his box break below.

More and more celebrities are getting into Pokemon

We’ve seen one influencer after another get into Pokemon in recent months. For example, rapper Logic still bought the first edition shadowless Charizard for a record $220,000 dollars. Logan Paul started investing heavily and he too bought a first edition shadowless Charizard, but not only the Charizard he also bought a lot of first edition booster boxes. One of which he opened live just last month! Dj Steve Aoki added to that, buying the Pikachu illustrator card for a whopping $420,000 and starting his own Pokemon shop. Another famous Youtuber from America is LeonHart, he wants to open a back to the 90’s shop this year. Where he lets all visitors buy the WOTC products at the 1999 retail price. So that means you can open a base booster pack in his shop for $3! More and more is happening around Pokémon and the market is growing as ever. And then to realize that Pokémon is going to collaborate with a lot of other celebrities in 2021. That can only go down big!

What do we think about this?

It’s super cool to see people opening a really old booster box and what kind of pulls they get. We can’t get enough of watching such videos. We’re also curious to know who will be the next Dutch influencer to get into Pokémon. But at the moment we have no knowledge of that.
