A new TCG called One Piece

Good news for all One Piece and trading card game fans and/or collectors, there will be a special trading card game for One Piece! And we are fortunate to be the very first to be able to offer these in the Netherlands and Belgium. It will be about the very first One Piece sets that are first edition. As we know with other new TCG types that came out as an example ‘Flesh & Blood’. Can these very first first edition boxes run up quite a bit in prices and is certainly an interesting TCG to take a look at. In this blog, we’re going to explain everything to you about this new TCG species.

What is One Piece TCG?

The ONE PIECE Card Game is a game where you build your own deck and compete against an opponent.
Choose your favorite cards and characters, and devise your strategy! It is based on the popular anime series and movies. It all started in 1997 when the very first volume of One Piece came out in the manga magazine ‘Shonen Jump’. Drawn by Oda Eiichiro, it’s bombarded with humor and cartoonish characters. Had he ever dreamed that it would one day be this big? It is about the adventures of pirates, a mysterious treasure and lots of enemies with super powers. Over the years, it has become the very most popular manga ever. By 2013, 345,000,000 copies of manga bundles were already circulating around the world. At the time, that was over 100,000,000 more than the number 2 manga series Dragon Ball Z. And now finally in 2022 they are coming out with their own trading card game! We should definitely do something with this, which is why we are already writing an informative blog about it and will also offer the products on our webshop later this year!

How can you start playing?

You must put together a deck to play the ONE PIECE Card Game. If the game is new to you, we recommend the One Piece Starter Deck. This is a ready-made deck. If you want to win more battles, you can use One Piece Booster Packs to expand your deck! Check out the sample images below of how these products will look!

To give you a glimpse of how to play this TCG and what it will look like, we have created an example for you. Note: currently the tickets are not yet available to order, this is purely to give a sneak peek about this TCG!
