Set information

The Battle Styles set release is scheduled for March 19, 2021. In addition, set contains more than 160 cards, including 60 Battle Style cards, 12 Pokemon V, six Pokemon VMAX cards, 16 full art cards, and two Special Energy. This series is primarily based on Japan’s Single Strike Master and Rapid Strike Master sets, which will be released on January 22, 2021.

The expansion includes Battle Style Pokémon such as Single Strike Urshifu V, Rapid Strike Urshifu V, Single Strike Tyranitar V and Rapid Strike Empoleon V. Combine previously introduced VMAX mechanics with the new Battle Styles, and you get Single Strike Urshifu VMAX and Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX in their Gigantamax forms.

Now what is a “Single Strike” card or a “Rapid Strike” card? We’ll explain it briefly for you:

Single Strike Cards are very cards with a very powerful attack. You can describe these attacks as very powerful and effective, while Rapid Strike cards can be described more as sneaky, technical attack cards.
